By Car:From the north:
- Take the Autostrada del Sole A1 (Firenze-Roma).
- Exit at Valdichiana.
- Join the Superstrada E45.
- Exit at Assisi, in the direction of Gualdo Tadino.
- Take the SS 444 del Subasio for 12 km.
From south:
- Take the Autostrada del Sole A1.
- Exit at Orte.
- Then, as above.
By Train:
Take the Ancona-Rome line to Foligno (distance from Assisi: 14 km).
Or:
Take the Terontola-Foligno line to Assisi train station, which is found near the bus terminal.
By Bus:
There are:
Daily inter-regional buses to and from Rome and Florence;
Daily buses to and from Perugia, Gubbio, Città di Castello, Orvieto, and Todi;
Daily buses between Gualdo Tadino and Assisi.
