Dating back to the 14th century, the hotel is an ex Franciscan convent which has been restored to its unique splendour. Throughout Hotel Rivoli, the classic ceilings, cross vaults, stone arches and pillars all add to the character of the building.
Tourists information
From Santa Maria Novella station, you can easily reach the hotel on foot:- Exit to the right-hand side at the foot of the steps and continue over the pedestrian crossing.
- Turn left and continue along Via Santa Caterina di Siena.
- At the traffic lights, turn left onto Via della Scala and the hotel is situated approximately 100 metres further on the right-hand side.
